Love YA Like Crazy

Welcome to Love YA Like Crazy, where Carrie and Jake rant about young adult books. Beware, there are lots of spoilers and often lots of swearing!

May 28, 2017

For this episode, Carrie and Jake discuss 'That Thing We Call A Heart' by Sheba Karim. Carrie provides some useful analysis of YA fiction, while Jake talks about pie and declares his love for the dad in this book. We also note that thinking genocide is cool is a bit of a red flag in a relationship.

Spoilers abound, so we recommend reading the book before listening!

In the next episode, we'll be discussing 'Anne of Green Gables' by L.M. Montgomery, which you can get for free in various formats from Project Gutenberg.

This episode contains short excerpts from 'Africa' by Toto and the Radiohead song 'Creep' as performed by some street musicians in Iran, which I found via Sam Tamiz's twitter account, @samtamiz.
